1Who we are

A&H Wendy Houses is a family business at 29 River Rd, Mooiplaats / Boschkop, Pretoria. We make and install wendy houses, sheds, huts, homes and woodwork.

In this policy, "we" and "us" means A&H Wendy Houses, and "you" means anyone who uses our website or contacts us.

2What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote you and deliver your order:

• From the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, suburb or town, the product, size and extras you choose, what you want it to stand on, your message, how you'd like us to reply and, if you add one, a photo of your site.
• When you visit the website: standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records in its server logs to keep the site secure and running.
• When you contact us: messages you send by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• When you order: the delivery and installation address.

We don't ask for ID numbers, and we don't need any special personal information, such as health or religious details.

3Why we collect it

We use your information to:

• prepare your quote
• arrange delivery and installation
• process your payment
• handle warranty claims
• answer your questions
• protect our website and forms from spam and abuse

We don't use it for anything else unless you agree or the law requires it.

4How we contact you

You need to give us an email address on the quote form. We reply using the method you choose there: WhatsApp, a phone call or email. We only contact you about your quote, order or warranty.

We won't send you marketing messages unless you've asked for them, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

5Who we share it with

We only share your information with service providers we need to run the business, and only what they need to do their job:

• Website hosting, form handling, spam checking and photo storage: Cloudflare
• Email: Cloudflare delivers your enquiry to our inbox, which is hosted by [email provider to confirm]
• Messaging: WhatsApp, if you choose to talk to us there

Your site photo is only shared with our team, through a private link that stops working after 7 days. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

6Information stored outside South Africa

Some of these providers store data on servers outside South Africa. We only use providers that protect your information to a standard equivalent to POPIA, as the Act requires.

7How long we keep it

• Quote requests that don't become orders: [period to confirm, e.g. 12 months], then we delete them.
• Site photos: [photo retention period in days to confirm], then they are deleted automatically.
• Orders and warranty records: for as long as we need them for your warranty and for our tax records.

8Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information safe and stop it being lost, misused or seen by people who shouldn't see it. What you send through the quote form travels over a secure connection.

Site photos you upload are stored privately, are never published, and are only used to prepare your quote.

9Cookies and analytics

Our website doesn't use cookies to track you, and we don't run analytics or advertising tools. We don't load fonts, scripts or trackers from other companies, apart from the spam check on the quote form described below.

The "Get your site ready" checklist on the How it works page remembers which boxes you've ticked in your own browser (local storage). That stays on your device and we never receive it.

The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. It checks that you're a person without showing you a puzzle. When the form loads, Cloudflare receives your IP address and browser details to run that check.

Maps on our site link out to Google Maps, and some links open WhatsApp. Google's and WhatsApp's own privacy policies apply when you use them.

10Your rights

Under POPIA you can:

• ask what personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct or delete it
• object to us using it
• withdraw your consent at any time

11Complaints

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information or your request, please tell us first so we can try to put it right.

You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
